Native Android Beautyrest Smart Mattress App
Beautyrest is a luxury bedding company that integrated with ReST smart mattress to produce one of the most innovative products in sleep on the market. I played a key role in the integration with the ReST smart mattress, contributing to the development of this smart mattress. My responsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders to grasp the vision and requirements of the Android-based smart mattress app. I dedicated time to thoroughly test the app, focusing on enhancing usability, interactive design, and overall user experience and interface.

The initial goal.
Revamping the smart mattress app for the Beautyrest collection involved a comprehensive implementation and rebranding initiative. Going beyond aesthetics, I ensured that the user interface was brought up to speed with enhanced comprehension and interaction design.
Old Original Interface
The ReST app presented several challenges to the UI experience. During an internal user test, we discovered that users found it unclear how to control the mattress without verbal instructions.
Initial WireFrames
I presented the redesign by infusing Beautyrest brand standards with a nighttime theme characterized by soothing hues reminiscent of evening tranquility.
The color palette was carefully curated to evoke a sense of calmness, creating an interface that not only aesthetically aligns with the night but also functions seamlessly in low-light environments.
